okay then,
so, after many hours of mental debate, I figured out how to kill the thing in a way that makes sense (would work) given it's ability to adapt.
just going to implement a few rules about dealing with it, for starters, any advantage we gain cannot last for long, you can kick his ass fifty ways to Friday but he must regain control of the fight soon afterwards, consider Connor's dark transformation a pseudo time limit (for this to work Connor has to be in his normal form, so feel free to fight SZ as long as you like while he's still dark)

That sounds good even with shady at full freaking force using swords, wings, dark shady ness. AND hat anger + dark Connor + shin gokento/gokento we won't be able to hold him for long at a advantage,

Hi; I just joined.

I've read the rules and I'd like to file my character--when I post him--under this kind of insanity:

Reply supersonicfan0, October 25th, 2015, 5:49 pm

BTW, just to see if anyone agrees with me, who else thinks that the fight is dragging on too much?

Reply lazerbeam, October 26th, 2015, 3:10 am

thought the fact I posted this thing indicated that I was planning on ending it fairly soon, but as far as it dragging on too much, I personally don't think so, given the sort of scale we've given the character, it makes sense the fight would last a while.

Okay, after reading the newest comic, I think I might have an idea for how my character could contribute. Could The Gamer pop into Connor's mental space and assist Connor in getting his dark side to cooperate, giving Connor access to his dark side's strength while leaving him totally in control (or whatever you have planned)?

Reply lazerbeam, October 27th, 2015, 2:20 am

well, what I had planned with the current scenario is that Connor's dark self, in its attempts to mock him, accidentally give him an idea on how to take down SZ, and that sudden eureka moment gives Connor the will to regain control.

the whole point of the dark side was basically a naruto/kurama situation, so when Connor becomes able to control his dark side's power, I was planning on going about it in a somewhat different way

Reply supersonicfan0, October 27th, 2015, 5:09 am

Okay. So if I wanted The Gamer to pop in, he and Connor's dark side could start bickering and one of them says that key phrase that gives Connor the idea and maybe The Gamer could give Connor the opportunity to regain control.

Or The Gamer could just not appear in Connor's subconscious at all if you really don't want that to happen. I'm not really that adamant about The Gamer doing something; I can always make him useful in the next arc.

EDIT: It looks like I'm too late anyway. Nevermind.

meh, you could always have him help out in the final stretch of the fight, I'm personally curious as to how he works

heck, the final stretch only really needs to be a quick clash to throw it off balance

Shady Biography update Shady "mirror" Kirby is a insane puffball born in a land known as mirror world. With many sorts of powers like mirror powers, different power forms, inner voices, kirby powers and "cakifaction" which personally was inspired by etam. His motive still remain a mystery... but he seems to care for Connor...maybe.

Reply supersonicfan0, October 27th, 2015, 11:48 am "...but [Shady] seems to care for Connor..."

I'll ship it.

Reply lazerbeam, October 28th, 2015, 11:07 am

just gonna put this in terms that I know at least one of you understands, You've basically got to put SZ in a situation where my character can basically perform a chidori on it without a sharingan

Reply, October 29th, 2015, 1:57 pm

for whatever reason i got what your saying but i cant find out how to put sz in a situation where my character can basically perform a chidori on it without a sharingan

unless you count the fact thats he's been el-

...Maybe we get him wet?

Reply lazerbeam, October 29th, 2015, 4:45 pm

the issue is more of getting the attack to hit rather then electrocuting the guy (my character can't actually do that)

it's more the fact that in order to counter the fact that a similar technique has already been performed on him (therefore enabling him to adapt to it), my character will have to perform the move at such a speed than even with eyes that are used to high speeds, he wouldn't be able to properly see what he's doing.

like I said, knock him off balance for a bit, and maybe get the hell out of the way.

Reply lazerbeam, October 30th, 2015, 8:08 pm

so... my character's about to get his hands on a little something,

and each resident character will also get one of these things

Reply supersonicfan0, October 30th, 2015, 8:34 pm

@lazerbeam: Is it cake?

Reply, November 2nd, 2015, 7:30 am

I "saw" that coming There it is the first of 7.., lets see. Yea we got enough people for it to work.

Connor (!)
Jerhmy? (Maybe...)

The gamer

Reply lazerbeam, November 2nd, 2015, 10:53 am technically what everybody gets are little "pseudo-emeralds" (should have been clearer), a red one to be exact,
which enable very limited use of classic chaos abilities (blast, spear and control) and can be used to sightly enhance abilities natural to the user.

my plan for the emeralds as a whole is to reward the group with one at the end of most story arcs

Reply, November 2nd, 2015, 1:05 pm

@lazerbeam: okap, thou that isn't as self explainatory as it seems. Thou either way that is like a "emerald" for each of us basicaly at the end which is almost 7. (Since you know jerhmy just sort of vanished...)

Reply lazerbeam, November 2nd, 2015, 1:57 pm think of them more like receivers for the original emeralds energy, so just having seven of them wouldn't grant somebody the same abilities,
you'd just have seven means of accessing the same emerald

that said, having seven different pseudo-emeralds (one that counterparts each of the seven), would grant the same abilities to an extent, for example, a super transformation that doesn't result in invunrability

Reply lazerbeam, November 2nd, 2015, 3:31 pm also, gonna need some marnix sprites at some point

Reply GokentoPower, November 24th, 2015, 7:35 am

@lazerbeam: Hey, i could get the pseudo-emerald at the end of the new ark, since in the ark i've played Phoenix wright before the 3ds break, and then you'll guess the rest that happens.
