No, the thing about the hat wasn't the question. I'm planning on allowing filler content, (content that doesn't necessary tie into the plot in any way or even have to remotely relate to it).

But I'm wondering how to best go about it, do we either have a whole "Filler" chapter, or do we just announce that the page is filler in the name (Filler: insert name here.)?

Reply lazerbeam, December 31st, 2015, 1:51 pm

Okay, another question has come to mind. Namely, the limits of everyone's abilities.

I assume it's fairly safe to say that we all know the limit of what our own characters are capable of, but with others it can be a bit of a crap shoot.

So... what are our limits?

In my case, his top speed is roughly mach 1,(mach 1.2 when using light-speed attack). He uses energy attacks which he gives a fire aspect, but as this requires focus he relies more on melee combat. And prolonged use of his abilities drains him of his stamina to the point where if he doesn't stop to rest or eat he'll become exhausted or even outright pass out.

EDIT: Forgot about transformations (thanks Chunck), Super and Hyper are, for the most part, self explanatory if you know how they operate in the sonic games (need all 7 chaos/super emeralds respectively, enhanced speed, endurance and strength, flight.), though in this case rather then rings he uses his energy to maintain them, the amount and proprieties of his energy also change, super being more powerful against dark based opponents and hyper affecting an opponent's own energy reserves.
Dark is a tad more complicated, but the general rule of thumb is, less powerful then super, more powerful then base, loses almost all self-control and acts on destructive instinct (control can be retained in certain instances, keep an eye on the eyes) and his energy gains soul-destroying properties.

My Question :P Well WE GOT TONS OF NEW PEOPLE :D.
and with that I think it would be nice to update the bio a bit, for Kable, Rile, Gamer, Edward, and such. I love the bio as it gives anyone unknown the basic info. also it looks cool. :T

So...uhhh how about it? :. ...

Reply supersonicfan0, January 12th, 2016, 7:24 pm

@Chunck.co: We could simply make a new folder for comics here and put all our bios there. It would make looking up character information easier and people could ask about other characters on their bio if they want to make sure to get their character right.

Reply lazerbeam, January 13th, 2016, 2:08 pm

@Chunck.co: See this is the sort of thing where unless I'm actually given any information by the author, I'll have to develop a VERY basic personality profile based on what I've been shown.

and I am one of the worse people to do that sort of thing, so I'm usually very reluctant to do so.

But yeah, ssf0's idea isn't all that bad, maybe we could find a template to work with, might put it on the actual site, who knows?

@lazerbeam: Is this what you were talking about?: http://i.imgur.com/Jqp9Iz1.png

Reply lazerbeam, January 14th, 2016, 4:36 pm

Okay, this is less than a question more of a clarification on information... Considering how he keeps showing up basically everywhere, and considering my stance on them, it's fairly safe to assume he has his hands on a certain... "thing" (not actually going to type it out cause... reasons.)

though if you guys come up with a more reasonable excuse, I'm happy to hear it.

there's also another thing about him that I'm fairly certain you all figured out by now, but just in case... nobody knows.

and yes, I'm being vague on purpose.

@lazerbeam: I like the filler chapter idea. We can also put "Filler:" at the beginning of each comic we put there.

Reply AssassinPerson, December 23rd, 2015, 9:32 pm

Sounds good! If we have a seperate chapter for fillers then we won't have to worry about the Fillers being everywhere and making it look untidy. And plus, I would probably eventually make some Fillers for things like Christmas and Birthdays and all that.

Reply Chunck.co, December 24th, 2015, 11:22 am

Dat Filler @lazerbeam:
For The most part i've put filler in comment off to the side and such, but the idea if we are to have "Filler" is good as its own chapter and being called Filler, if we need to do it or are too busy it would be good for stuff. It would be segmented somewhere that wouldn't distract and possibly a good idea that its it own chapter so people can skip the chapter all together.

Shady Limits Further explained. @lazerbeam: This is something on my mind as i would love to explain the limits to one of the most chaotic beings...Shady.

Shady is a reality warper, and a aware with a speed of a 1.0.
His "4th wall" powers rely on many things each with their only section.
his "mood" effects the strength when he is happy, calm, collect or just outright bored he is seen more stronger; But when depressed, worried, doubtful or angry they tend to be weaker.
his "sanity" is something else, he loses sanity when using it to "benifit" others, but has learn to control it.
HE HOWEVER MUST USE IT, due to the longer spent not using it, the more insane he gets. He also has common stuff he can do like moving thou the white space, talking to commenters and dragging others to areas usually 1000miles away.
the final limit comes from his "energy or stamina", quite like connor but different, he can do it easily around small groups but when attack large groups it drains him QUICKLY.
thats the jest of his chaotic ablities but he also has normal.

Along with his iq of 136, he has basic kirby strength and stamina without the copy ablity due to only using "yo-yo", he can attack things but he tends to be easily defeated if he's not tactical, and in a normal battle resorts to stategy. his common attacks are as seen his weightless yoyo, with speed can hit about the strength of a brick. his shadow clones which comes from sorcery and well easy to do not so easy to remove afterso. and his anti-sword or sword fighting which he is great at doing, thou his tendency to use it only comes as a minimum.

His "Dark" is already explained, and his love of scienctific creation comes from media.

When weak he will either go in a rest state or run away hoping to survive. He tends to CC to make sure that reality is kept together whenever he enters a universe unlike his.

Reply Chunck.co, December 31st, 2015, 3:27 pm

Oliman Limits @lazerbeam:
Oliman, with a Incredible iq of 200, thou he tends to shy away and shows it. His Defence is beyond "anything" previously thought with the ablity to survive lava, Dark connor, Shin gokento, AND constant pain with no more then a slight quickly recovered bruise, thou he still feels it. his strength is brutely non-existence as he cant even harm a goomba much less anything, thanks to 8bit shady however he can now parlyze foes for a short time.

His speed when anxious is of a mach 1, thou never higher.

Reply Chunck.co, December 31st, 2015, 3:34 pm

Marnix Limits @lazerbeam: The most mature feela with a amazingly amount of training. he is well able to control his powers...however he comes with flaws.
He is easily one of the most quickest to frustrate and anger while he can hold it into a grudge if it gets too much he will lashe out. his fire attacks vary with a many kinds and many great feats. he however can't handle water and when hit becomes weak. he is also a great hand to hand and sword combater, with many melee skills. his power comes stronger from frustration thou when using that it causes more exhaustion then if he is calm.
And while he can go for 10 hours at most fighting as he is very use to it, after a fight is over however no matter what, he needs to rest and relax or else he'll collaps from exhaustion.

but seriously...DONT CALL HIM MARIO...this is something of a thing that will break everything of his calmness..as he ticks from the mere mention of this being.

his pet peeve comes from a event he lost to said person, and said prize was something he wanted, he grew this for a long while and it ticks him.

Reply lazerbeam, December 31st, 2015, 3:51 pm

@Chunck.co: Useful, but I'd dial back the IQ a bit, it's one thing to make your characters smart but I think you might be going too far there.

That and Marnix's stamina could do with a bit of a reduction (over a month? that's just kinda insane.)

I'd use actual sonic characters as guidelines (Sonic's max speed is just over mach 1, Eggman's IQ is 300 and he's considered one of the smartest in the series (for some reason), etc)

Reply Chunck.co, December 31st, 2015, 3:57 pm

@lazerbeam: I changed it a bit and put a bit of research so there iq's still made sense.

Reply lazerbeam, December 31st, 2015, 4:05 pm

@Chunck.co: I'd swap the IQ's on Shady and Oliman as you seem to want Oli to be smarter.

And again, Marnix's stamina is sightly insane.
Try imagining actually fighting for the length of week, not exactly feasible.

also, his pet peeve doesn't really make much sense (to me), as his name doesn't seem close enough for people to make that mistake.

Reply Chunck.co, December 31st, 2015, 4:17 pm

@lazerbeam: his pet peeve comes from his past and it grew from time when people made the mistake...to this point.

Reply lazerbeam, December 31st, 2015, 4:16 pm

@Chunck.co: I know I'm probably getting a bit annoying here still harping on about it, but seriously, I understand wanting a character with a great deal of stamina, but I feel it has to make sense.

either reduce it to about 6-7 hours (which means he can keep fighting for roughly half the waking day), or give some form of explanation for how he can go for as long as he can.

Reply Chunck.co, December 31st, 2015, 4:28 pm

@lazerbeam: i understand that this great amount so i put it to the Minimum i can, and put a bit of explaination.

Reply lazerbeam, December 31st, 2015, 4:30 pm

@Chunck.co: fair enough, still kinda extreme but not completely out of the question.

makes me wonder what exactly he goes through to be used to 10-hour fights but that's something else entirely.

Reply AssassinPerson, December 31st, 2015, 7:48 pm

Edward Kenway.
He is highly skilled in both close range and long range combat, but preferring the former due to the fact that he has his hidden blades he can use. He will do some long range combat if he has to though, using his gun only for support for his team.
Being an Assassin, his body has grown used to going long periods of time without food or sleep which he uses to his advantage. It isn't known exactly how long he is able to stay in combat though.
Also because he is an Assassin, he rarely ever gets distracted and usually only stays in large crowds to stay hidden, and when he is set on doing something, he will work to get it done no matter what the cost is. He has an unknown relationship with someone named Conner who isn't a Hedgehog, but this has only been mantioned once before and that was in the zombie fiasco.
It is presumed that he has no powers because he seems like a normal human Assassin, but he does have some form of powers to an extent which he never shows anyone. This means that he can get away with many things, especially when they are related to power usage.

Anything else I need to add? Hmm... I don't think so but maybe I will add more in a bit.

Reply lazerbeam, January 1st, 2016, 12:35 pm

@AssassinPerson: I'm rather curious as to what you mean by "he does have some form of powers to an extent which he never shows anyone".

What sort of powers does he have exactly? (given that you've clearly based this guy around the assassin's creed assassin's abilities, I imagine that he has some variation of eagle vision) and under what circumstances can/will he use them?

If the answer to the second question is basically never, what's the point of him having them to begin with?

Reply AssassinPerson, January 1st, 2016, 6:59 pm

@lazerbeam: He tends to use his powers when no-one can see him so then they don't know that he has them, but some he may use in-front of other people. This is like when he is tracking someone specific, he can just use the power to be able to see exactly who it is he is tracking as they would have a different coloured "aura" around them. The same power also helps him with finding clues like footprints faster and only he knows when he is using the power as well.
A few more powers are like the ones from the AC series, but he also has another power that is unique to him. It also ties in with some sort of other form he has, which is an evil form with no known name and only he knows about it because he is the one who had it. He never mentions it in-front of others either, because he hates it when other people keep asking him pointless questions all the time.

Evil Intent Limitations So basically Gokento took possesion of the evil intent, and yet he din't manage to control it completely. And basically he has a number of limitations. Starting with Shin form.

as i said, it uses the GPOT trigger, (Gains power over time) And if the power somehow manage to break your limit, you are FORCED to revert (i even did a post on why you are forced to revert, i'm pretty sure you know why.) and wait for the cooldown of 1 minute (7 scenes in comic time or higher depening on the time you stay on the form).

Overall: Just think of it as a Kaioken X 20.

Now with Gokento's limits.

Basically think of him as a "Beserker" than a "Warrior", since he sometimes attacks without thinking, and basically ignores completely strategies.
(He gets to finally think when he control his evil intent.)
Since he likes videogames and all, he gets distracted easly, like " HEY LOOK, I SEE KIRBY! " - " OMG WHERE?! ".
His speed can go 50km, but he sometimes trips on rocks. (DISTRACTIONS.)
He can warp from a short distance to attack the enemy or either escape from a attack.
He's able to charge energy balls similiar to Hadoukens and use most of his father's moves. (Teleporting, Raging demon, and etc.)
He DOES defend sometimes an attack, and usually gets confident when manages to block an attack.
Usually he gets MORE confident when he transforms, wondering if the enemy is fearing his Shin State.

Edit: Oh, he can also fly, due to his psychoness. (evilintent)

Overall: He's expert at meele combat, but gets distracted easly and does NOT care sometimes about defending.

Well, since everyone else is doing it, I might as well.

The Gamer:
He has only two abilities: dimension travel and power copying. However, saying that "he sees the ability and can use it" is too simple in his case. The Gamer can see through reality. By seeing someone use a power, The Gamer can see through it and understand everything about it. Once The Gamer understands a power, he can emulate it. Since The Gamer emulates the actual power instead of the target's power, he masters every power he attains.

While The Gamer can't copy physical techniques (like regular martial arts), the first power The Gamer copied was Sasuke's sharingan, which allows him to analyze and understand taijutsu (physical techniques) and ninjutsu (powers).

The Gamer wants to gain more power, even if he doesn't know why anymore. He'll lead villains straight to the heroes if it means he can watch them display their powers. While he doesn't like to participate in fights because he knows it would eliminate all dramatic tension, he could be convinced if the protagonists give him a source of power (like chaos emeralds, dragon balls, or similar objects) for a minute or two afterwards.

Suppose since I'm new, I should do this as well. Kable Prong is an mostly average teenager. He doesn't have his own powers, but rather uses the powers of his Fate Relic, the Electro Amber . With his relic, he can teleport, increase his speed and summon various items from video games. However, he doesn't always teleport to his intended target, and he doesn't have full control over what item he summons. On top of that, he has a limited amount of items he can summon per arc. Without his powers, he is a slightly smarter than normal 16 year old, with weak physical strength.

I AM LATE IM SORRY I WAS VERY BUSY

Anyway, Do I have to do this or is the Alt Text bio thing on my sprites are enough?

@lazerbeam: Whilst I think yours might be better, my idea was that he either a very fast one, or telepad thou I like to see yours instead.

Would it be all right if I kind of get the plot going?

Reply lazerbeam, January 23rd, 2016, 2:25 pm

@supersonicfan0: I'll admit to trying to tie everything up rather quickly. but... with the Kable/Edward fight things become a tad more complected.

To that end, you could try getting things moving, just don't start the actual trial itself. (maybe by just investigating in general, but it's basically up to you.)

Reply lazerbeam, January 23rd, 2016, 2:29 pm

@lazerbeam: that said...

You guys might want to wrap up the fight rather quickly, cuz I'm not going to pretend that I'm not getting impatient.

before we start (pain in the ass I know) what sort of evidence do we have at our disposal?
